We have created a new space in the old granary, and within this new space have erected a new bridge.
In the area of the granaries in the northern part of Wuzhen, we are creating a new space for Theatre, for interactive events, after party, workshops, and other related events. This will create a bridge between theatre and our younger audience. We hereby raise the curtain where physical and spiritual space overlap and collide. A place for performance, creativity, thought, and aspirations, about inspiration, contemplation, and interaction.
This section brings forth the power of domestic young theatre artists to bring works of different angles, directions and textures, and at the same time provides theatre people with activities full of artistic flavor and humanistic concern. Sincere and natural works burst with vigor and gesture in this fertile creative site.
As the years go by, the ideals of countless young dramatists will be realized here. This place will inevitably bring together an energetic and permanent talent pool, attracting more practitioners and enthusiasts, blossoming forth the flowers of theatrical art, and planting the seeds of theatre in more people's hearts.

Here are theatres, here is paradise. It is the source, the spark; the opportunity, the future.
New works are born, beautiful dreams begin;
Thoughts converge, a bountiful granary.
This is a pure field for creation, a space for realizing dreams, where everything is oriented and informed by the works of art. Classic masterpieces and original works are on stage together, exploring interactive, physical, installation, music, immersive styles... All are integrated into the new theatre spaces, opening new patterns of creation.
In the cradle of theatre in Wuzhen, every second here glows with new charm. Theatre brings us together here, condensing into a new starting point, and forges a bridge to a faraway place for everyone to sprint toward.
When we turn around again, we will be ears of wheat clustered tightly together, rooted in this fertile soil of theatre that nourishes us.
